Slow start to cattle
market in Argentina

The Argentine cattle markets got off to a very slow start as the farmers' strike only finished at midnight on Sunday night.

Most of the cattle travel between 200 and 900 kilometres to the sale yards, therefore there was only 4500 on offer on Monday.
