• Back along the coast towards the east end of Lake Waituna.

• Field Day - Soils - Health (VSA), Type, Aeration. Speakers - Bala Tikkisetty, ES; Nick Round-Turner, Crops for Southland; Des James, James Aerators; Stan Winter, Southern Chemical Consultants.
Streams - fish, SHMAK, Iwi perspective. Speakers - Eric Edwards, DoC; Janice Kevern, WLG, Rodney Trainor, Hokonui Runaka.
Early WLG field day: Farmers interested in soil health, aeration and getting the best out of their fertiliser will be both informed and entertained when they attend the Waituna Landcare Group field day on Thursday.

Soil Maps: It is now possible to generate soil maps of individual farms or specified areas of land such as the Waituna Catchment.
