Dedicated Land Sustainability Officer for Waituna Catchment
Katrina Robertson has recently been appointed to this position - a first for
Southland to have an LSO that has one catchment as their focus for the
promotion of Best Management Practices.
• New WLG signs at Mokotua Dairy
Read All About It - Two new signs at the Mokotua Dairy will help the community to know what's
going on in the catchment.
Gorge Road School pupils had the chance to explore what lives in
the streams of the Waituna Catchment. The main purpose was to see where
koura were living, as they are a good indication of stream health.
